We were so happy to have been asked to capture this lovely surprise proposal by Dan to his future bride - and she said yes! x
We had a fantastic photo shoot at the amazing Grittleton House (Wow! What a beautiful house). Our shoot was loosely based on the oscar winning classic "Gone with the Wind" and we had such great models for these roles...have a look at the results! Thank you to the lovely team - Tracy (Make-up Monkey), Hayley (Fore Hair), Bath Theatrical Costume Hire for the costumes, Grittleton House for the amazing location and Jon and Claudia, our great models.
We had the pleasure of capturing the atmosphere at Grittleton House's Burns Night. A massive thank you for the amazing meal Emma and a very special thanks to Jenny for helping out.

The original Manor House was built in 1660 and took the form of a three bay Jacobean Manor. It wasn’t until 1828 when the Estate was purchased by Sir Joseph Neeld, a London solicitor that many of the changes started to evolve. Sir Joseph was fortunate enough to inherit a large fortune from his silversmith uncle, which enabled him to redesign the house to represent that which you still see today.

Using second hand clothing from eBay, accessories from Zara, Debenhams and M&S and high street branded clothing from H&M and Lipsy, we have recreated the Chanel look on a budget of well below £100 for two outfits.
Modelled here by the fabulous Tann-Marie. Hair styling by Hayley, owner of Fore Hair in Westbury. Make up & boots by the model. The location was Westbury's Market Place. We live in such a pretty town!
In November 2017 we invested in a new flash system made by Godox. This is a highly portable flash with no annoying wires to trip over. We have used it four times now and have a better understanding of the Pro's and Con's now.
Pro's: Light, easy to pack, quick to charge, very portable, rugged, feels well made, provides plenty of light, easy to setup, simple controls, long battery life (whole wedding), battery very easy to change, good audible beep, fast recycle on the right settings.
Con's: Very dim back display (hard to see on location), has gone into temp protection mode twice now which slows down the work flow, screw mountings need improvement, modelling light is poor.
Overall we have been very happy with this new addition and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fast and effective lighting solution.
