Burns Night

We had the pleasure of capturing the atmosphere at Grittleton House's Burns Night. A massive thank you for the amazing meal Emma and a very special thanks to Jenny for helping out.

The original Manor House was built in 1660 and took the form of a three bay Jacobean Manor. It wasn’t until 1828 when the Estate was purchased by Sir Joseph Neeld, a London solicitor that many of the changes started to evolve. Sir Joseph was fortunate enough to inherit a large fortune from his silversmith uncle, which enabled him to redesign the house to represent that which you still see today.

Parisian Style... Chanel on a budget in Wiltshire

Using second hand clothing from eBay, accessories from Zara, Debenhams and M&S and high street branded clothing from H&M and Lipsy, we have recreated the Chanel look on a budget of well below £100 for two outfits.

Modelled here by the fabulous Tann-Marie. Hair styling by Hayley, owner of Fore Hair in Westbury. Make up & boots by the model. The location was Westbury's Market Place. We live in such a pretty town!

Laura & Nathan - A Winter Wedding

The lovely couple tied the knot just after the Christmas holidays in the beautiful Bratton church and celebrated afterwards in the breathtaking Orchardleigh Estate. Thank you for letting us capture your special day and congratulations again. A beautiful couple and a beautiful day.

Our new toy: The Godox AD200

In November 2017 we invested in a new flash system made by Godox. This is a highly portable flash with no annoying wires to trip over. We have used it four times now and have a better understanding of the Pro's and Con's now.

Pro's: Light, easy to pack, quick to charge, very portable, rugged, feels well made, provides plenty of light, easy to setup, simple controls, long battery life (whole wedding), battery very easy to change, good audible beep, fast recycle on the right settings.

Con's: Very dim back display (hard to see on location), has gone into temp protection mode twice now which slows down the work flow, screw mountings need improvement, modelling light is poor.

Overall we have been very happy with this new addition and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fast and effective lighting solution.

Autumn fashion editorial

Modelled by the lovely Kelly, we tried to capture a trendy but casual country girl feel using sales dresses from high street brand Zara paired with the current trend of colour wool tights from h&m. Hair styled in casual curls by Natalie and Georgia, both part of the Fore Hair team in Westbury. Make up is the model's own.

The Society of International Fashion and Glamour Photographers

After a long period of doing nothing, following a serious car crash, we are now slowly getting back Doing what we love most. After careful thought, and a little hesitation, we decided to get the band back together. The end result was a proud acknowledgement by The Society of International Fashion and Glamour Photographers. Naturally the whole team were over the moon at achieving this and we are now all busy shaping the concept for the next photoshoot. A huge thank you to our creative team and all our lovely clients for their patience and understanding during this difficult time. It's great to be back!!! x

Credits: Tracy from Make-up Monkey was our make up artist and Hayley Derbyshire, owner of Fore Hair, styled the hair. Our model was the lovely Tann Marie. Inspiration: Helmut Newton. Location: Frome in Somerset.

Equipment: Nikon D750, Nikon f/2.8 24-70 Lens, Lencarta Safari 2, Yongnuo Manual Flashgun.

Black & White Editorial

Another collaborative effort with Fore Hair and Makeup Monkey (acknowledgements below). A Saturday afternoon in the lovely picturesque town of Frome. The very beautiful (and patient) model, Tann Marie, spent a couple of hours with us dodging the traffic to help create some black and whites for an editorial series.

Thank you to our amazing model @modelmissmarie, the fantastic team - @hayley_forehair for the brilliant hair styling and for letting us use her salon @forehair, @makeupmonkey_hmua Tracy for the wonderful make-up.
