As you can see, we are currently in the middle of moving to our new website. Our plan is to be up and running as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience.
Continuous Improvement
Not being photography graduates we decided to dip our toes into the field of formal recognition to see where our skill level was. A lot of hard work in 2014 finally paid off. City & Guild certificates arrived and I was over the moon at getting a distinction.
Many thanks to all those at First Point Photography in Bournemouth. A great team who keep photography fun. Link: www.firstpointphotography.co.uk

Learning with Frank Doorhof
Professional development; We got to hang out with Frank Doorhof and his team at Legoland. Frank is an amazing photographer who produces some stunning work. As soon as The Flash Centre advertised this we immediately jumped at the chance. This one simple day was important for our development and has helped to shape how we now approach creating our images.
Acknowledgement: Big thanks to Frank, Annewiek, Nadine, Simon & Brian for a fun and informative day.

Wedding Photography Workshop with Stuart Wood
Professional Development: It is always our aim to develop our photography in such a way that it stands out from the rest. Spending a day with the award winning photographer Stuart Wood was an opportunity not to be missed. The day consisted of;
* Learning to work quickly and effectively at a location.
* Searching the location for photo opportunities
* Isolating areas and making the most of your chosen location with available or artificial light.
* Developing an understanding of light and light sources so that this can be quickly adapted when shooting weddings.
* Advanced lighting techniques that will add to your picture taking and help you stand out from the rest.
* Advanced use of continuous lighting, location flash and reflectors.
* Practical methods of using these skills so that they can be easily and quickly used while shooting weddings and give your images the edge.
* How to work quickly with brides that will avoid uncomfortable and awkward poses and expressions
* How to put your subject at ease and really connect with them to get pictures of them that they will treasure.
